REQUIRED FOR RENTAL
- A local driver’s permit is needed by all persons who do not possess a Barbados driver’s license.
- Original driver’s license from the country of issue.
- All hirers & drivers must be over 25 years and under 80 years old with a valid driving license for at least two (2) years. Drivers between 70 and 80 years old should produce a valid doctor’s certificate no older than 6 months confirming they are competent enough to drive in Barbados.
- Optional Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) \ Excess Waiver (EW)
- A valid credit card must be used at the time of rental, even when paying by cash. It is the hirer’s responsibility to have enough funds on their credit card to cover all transactions, including pre-authorizations. We accept VISA, MASTER, AMEX, and DISCOVER credit cards.
- Other additional charges.

All payments are processed in local BBD Barbados currency as required by law.

Our Rates And How We Charge
Our vehicle hire rates may vary from season to season. Our rates are determined by supply, demand, and market conditions. Rates quoted are only guaranteed at the time they are quoted.
Vehicle hire works on a 24-hour basis – e.g. if you hire a vehicle at 9 a.m. and return it at 9 a.m. the next day, this would be considered a one-day rental. A 15-minute grace period is applied at the end of the rental before the start of a new 24-Hour period. Returning the vehicle later than 15 minutes to any location would be subjected to an extra day charge. This charge will be determined by the rates at the time and not by the rates at the original time of booking.
All rates quoted include unlimited mileage.
Age And Licence Requirements
All hirers & drivers must be over 25 years and under 80 years old. Each driver must have held a valid driving licence for at least two (2) years – this licence must be produced at the time of delivery of the vehicle, and this is necessary for repeat clients as well. Faxed or photocopied licences are not accepted.
Drivers between 70 and 80 years old must produce a valid doctor’s certificate no older than 6 months confirming they are competent enough to drive in Barbados.
Extra Drivers
There is an additional driver’s charge of $2.50 USD per day per driver.
Extension Of Hire
Requests for an extension of the hire should be made 24 hours ahead of the return date. The extension will be determined by the rates at the time of the extension and not by the rates at the original time of booking. While we make every effort to allow extensions they are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Driving Permits
A driving permit is mandatory for all persons who do not have a Barbados driving license. These may be purchased from our representative upon delivery.
Permits are valid for up to 2 months and will cost $5.00 USD.
Insurance Coverage
Our vehicles are comprehensively insured (which includes third-party liability and theft). If the vehicle is damaged the renter is responsible for the deductible of $2000.00 USD. The basic insurance does NOT cover damages to tyres/rims, hub caps, windshields, interior damage, lost/damaged keys/fobs, vehicle canvas tops, or cigarette burns to upholstery. Charges may apply for roadside assistance.
Optional Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)/ Excess Waiver (EW) is available and recommended.
The client may purchase our COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (or excess waiver) (CDW or EW) at a cost of $15.00 USD per day – this reduces your liability to $500.00 USD if the vehicle is damaged, except in cases of negligence & providing the vehicle is operated in accordance with all conditions of our contract. The CDW does NOT cover damages to tires/rims, hub caps, windshields, interior damage, lost/damaged keys/fobs, vehicle canvas tops, or cigarette burns to upholstery. Full roadside assistance is included. A PRE-AUTHORIZATION transaction of $250.00 USD will be placed on your credit card. Please note that the release time varies depending on your issuing financial institution.
If Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)/Excess Waiver (EW) is declined, the client accepts full responsibility up to $2000.00 USD for loss, damage, or loss of the vehicle caused by accident, fire, or theft, regardless of who is at fault. A PRE-AUTHORIZATION transaction of $1250.00 USD will be placed on your credit card. Please note that the release time varies depending on your issuing financial institution.
Fuel Policy
Vehicles are delivered with a FULL tank of petrol at maximum capacity. Clients have two options:-
(1) Return the tank full at maximum capacity as delivered. If this is not done there will be refueling and service charges at the end of the hire.
To avoid any charges being applied, we highly recommend that the client refuels the vehicle at (maximum capacity) on the same day just before the vehicle is being returned, at a petrol station within a two (2) – three (3) mile radius of the drop-off location.
(2) Clients may opt to pay for a FULL tank on delivery and may return the vehicle as empty as possible.
On return, the hirer or authorized driver will not be given any credit for any remaining fuel in the vehicle.
Cancellation Policy
The hirer or authorized driver is asked to inform us as soon as they know they need to cancel the reservation. The reservation status will be changed to No Show or Canceled if no one has not shown up for the vehicle within 1 hour, and has not contacted us to change the delivery details. RG Diaspora Services Inc is not obligated to guarantee a vehicle for a no-show or canceled rental.
Delivery and pickup Service
We offer free delivery and pickup to any private residence, villa, guest house, Airbnb, or hotel. We do NOT deliver to or collect from the Cruise Terminal.
All Airport pickups are $5.00 USD.
All Airport returns are FREE.
Airport Pick-ups
Clients are advised to select an airport pickup time at least 30 minutes to an hour after their flight arrival to allow sufficient time for customs and immigration.
After exiting the arrivals main door, clients should proceed to the main CAR PARK (SECTION 5), which will be straight ahead to collect the reserved vehicle. A member of our team will be awaiting your arrival at the entrance of CAR PARK (SECTION 5) where it’s away from the crowd and in which a smooth, and hassle-free transaction can take place. Information will be sent to you via our company email support@rgdiasporaservices.com or company WhatsApp # 1-246-2521956 notifying you of the names and photos of our team members who will be meeting you on arrival.

Airport Returns
When returning your hired vehicle to the airport, the vehicle should be left in the main CAR PARK (SECTION 16) which is located as soon as you enter the car park. CAR PARK (SECTION 16) is nearest to the departure hall, making it easier for you to traverse with your luggage. If there is no parking space in SECTION 16, you can then proceed to leave the vehicle in the nearest car park section. Members of the team may be there to see you off and also do a thorough inspection of the vehicle. In the event that a team member should not be there, you will be given specific instructions via our company email support@rgdiasporaservices.com or company WhatsApp or phone # 1-246-2521956 on where to leave the key and parking ticket.

Delayed Flights
The hirer or authorized driver must report any delayed flights as soon as they are aware of any changes. Contact us via company email at support@rgdiasporaservices.com, Whatsapp us at 1-246-2521956, or call us at 1-246-2521956. Please also note that should your flight be delayed, causing collection of the car after 11 pm which is our ‘out of hours’ time, this charge will also be applied and must be paid upon arrival.
If there is no correspondence from the hirer or authorized drivers with respect to delayed flights, we will reserve your vehicle for 1 hour after the delivery time ONLY. After that, the booking will be canceled or displayed as a no-show in the system and availability cannot be guaranteed. RG Diaspora Services Inc will not be held responsible to compensate or refund any deposits.
You must inform support@rgdiasporaservices.com of your estimated flight arrival/departure time/ inbound/outbound/number/pickup/drop-off location.
Long terms rentals
Long-term rentals apply to rentals for 60 days or more.
We offer:

once your rental period has started, we cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen circumstances affecting your booking. in such cases, clients will be liable for 35% of the total booking amount.
No Smoking Policy \ Valet Charges
We are a 100% Non-Smoking Fleet – In cases where vehicles are returned with an offensive odor (e.g smoke) or excessive debris in the interior or upholstery has been damaged or compromised, clients will be charged up to a maximum of $300.00 USD for the cost of a professional valet service.
Payments
It is essential to have a credit card in your own name to be able to rent your vehicle. Unless otherwise stated in writing, the client will pay on demand all charges due under this agreement. All payments will be made at the time of rental, or on-demand in the event of any misfortunes that occur during the rental. All charges are subject to a final audit, and if any error is found, either party shall promptly pay or credit the other.
Payment Methods
We accept payment via our card machines with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover Credit cards. We also accept payment in cash (USD United States of America, and BBD Barbados only), but do require a pre-authorization on credit cards where payment is made in cash. We also facilitate secured online payment links with only MasterCard and Visa. We do not accept cheques.
OTHER CONDITIONS
The Hirer; means a person, by or on behalf of whom this agreement is signed. The acceptance of this agreement is your physical or digital signature.
Digital signatures are:
- Clicking the acceptance boxes on our website.
- Uploading driver’s licenses via company emails, or any other electronic communication.
Physical signatures are:
- Providing us with your driver’s license upon arrival.
Authorized Driver; means the driver added to the hirer who has completed a separate rental proposal to our satisfaction. The hirer will ensure that any Authorized Drivers will read, review, and comply with all the terms and conditions of this agreement.
If the hirer is a company, “ Authorized Driver” will mean any employee or client of the company who holds a valid visitor driving permit and or valid driver’s license and is over 25 years or under 80 years of age and is driving on the hirer’s order or with the hirer’s permission. The company will ensure that any Authorized Drivers will read, review, and comply with all the terms and conditions of this agreement.
The hirer will return the vehicle with all tires, tools, and accessories, in the same conditions as when received, except for ordinary wear and tear, to the place and on the date shown or sooner if requested by the owner.
The hirer will pay the owner on demand all charges due under this agreement. A valid credit card must be used at the time of rental, even when paying by cash or other means. It is the client’s responsibility to have enough funds on their credit card to cover all transactions, including pre-authorizations.
. The hirer or authorized driver has complied with all terms and conditions of this Agreement and is responsible for loss of or damage to the vehicle or its tyres, tools, or accessories.
. The hirer or any authorized driver of the vehicle will in no event be deemed the agent, servant, or employee of the owner.
We are not responsible for any loss of or damage to any property left or placed by the hirer or any other persons in or on the vehicle or the premises of the owner either before, during, or after the period of the rental. The hirer will indemnify the owner against all claims for any such loss or damage.
Do not leave any important documents, jewelry, cash, or any items of sentimental value inside the vehicle.
The Hirer and or any authorized drivers’ Contact information can be provided to any of our insurance companies, and or any formal governmental law enforcement organization, especially upon request.
Always pay attention and keep your doors locked at all times.
All receipts \ invoices issued will be issued from RG Diaspora Services Inc or any other of our hired vehicle company affiliates.
Walk-in prices vary to online prices in order to facilitate online bookings and discounts.
Any accident involving our vehicles must be reported at once to RG Diaspora Services Inc and the Barbados Police Service. The law requires that all accidents must be reported within 24 hours and an accident report form completed within 24 hours. The emergency services numbers are Police 211, Ambulance 511, and Fire Service 311.
The hirer or any authorized driver will obtain the names and addresses of witnesses, if possible; make no admission of liability; deliver to the owner all summonses, writs, and documents received; not aid or abet any claimant but cooperate fully with the owner and insurance company in the investigation and defense of any claim. The hirer or authorized driver should secure the vehicle by removing all personal possessions and locking the vehicle immediately.
A deposit may be sometimes requested and required upon confirmation of booking in order to ensure and secure availability. Deposits are absolutely non-refundable. Should we require a deposit, the client will be required to settle the remainder balance owed upon pickup of the vehicle. Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)/Excess Waiver (EW) is for accidents and any other circumstances pertaining to damage can also be deemed as negligent driving, whereas further charges may apply.
The hirer or authorized drivers are responsible for any damages or costs if they:
A. Breach any restriction described in our terms and conditions.
B. Causes self-inflicted damage or loss to the vehicle (where collision damage does not involve another vehicle).
C. Fails to report collision damage to RG Diaspora Services Inc and or to the Barbados Police Service within 24 hours.
If you select our Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) or Excess Waiver (EW) for suv vehicle classes, a $500.00 USD pre-authorization will be placed on your credit card.
Clients are asked to be mindful of eating or drinking in our vehicles. Clients will be charged up to a maximum of $300.00 USD for the cost of a professional valet service for damages and stains to upholstery and the interior.
Clients must refrain from wearing wet clothing inside our vehicles. Water and Saltwater are extremely damaging to the upholstery and leave the vehicle with an exceedingly unpleasant odor. After you’ve enjoyed our beautiful beaches please be mindful. Placing wet towels on the seats and sitting on them with wet clothes is the fastest way to incur charges. Clients will be charged up to a maximum of $300.00 USD for a professional valet service to remove water, salt water, and unpleasant odors which have been acquired from the aforementioned. You may place all wet clothing in the vehicle’s trunk in a bag or container.
Out-of-hours deliveries, pickups & fees.
We try our best to accommodate customers with after-hour pick-ups and deliveries and this will attract an ‘out of hours’ fee of $25.00 USD.
While we make every effort to allow out-of-hours deliveries and pickups, they are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Our vehicles will not be used:
– For the carriage of passengers or property for hire or reward.
– For any illegal purposes.
– To propel or tow any other vehicle or trailer.
– For racing, pacemaking, reliability trials, speed testing, or driving tuition.
The vehicle will not be driven by any person:
– other than the hirer or an authorized driver.
– Who has given a fictitious or false name, age, or address.
– Who is under the influence of alcohol, hallucinatory drugs, narcotics, or barbiturates.
The hirer or authorized driver will immediately inform the owner of any loss, damage to, or fault in the vehicle and will not use the vehicle while it is in an unroadworthy condition or liable to cause damage to any person or property.
RG Diaspora Services Inc accepts no responsibility for delays as a consequence of breakdown or other circumstances.
All traffic offenses or violators of parking regulations involving the vehicle during the period of rental, including all fines or penalties will be the responsibility of the hirer. Charges may be applied in the event of an accident due to negligent driving, court costs, or using the vehicle out of accordance with governing Barbados traffic laws, for parking tickets, or for disobeying traffic regulations while hiring the vehicle. In the event we are asked to pay any of the above-mentioned costs for the client, there will be a service charge added to the payments.
All drivers must comply with all traffic regulations, road signs, or any instructions that may be given by any member of the Barbados Police Service.
If a vehicle is confiscated by any formal governmental authorities due to any illegal acts and is being held in any ongoing investigations, the hirer will be responsible for all loss of use charges involved with the vehicle that is under investigation until returned to RG Diaspora Services Inc.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
The insurance protection on our vehicles is valid only when it is being driven by the “HIRER” or “AUTHORIZED” persons. Allowing any other person to drive the motor vehicle causes the vehicle to be on the road without operative insurance, and should this happen while the motor vehicle is under hire to you, you would be committing a breach of the law and would be liable to penalties under the law. Further, in the event of an unfortunate accident, while the vehicle is being driven by an unauthorized person, you would become personally liable for any claims for damage to the vehicle or compensation to third parties. We are sure you would like to avoid getting involved in such situations and hence this special appeal pointing out the restrictions of the protection.
Failure to abide by the aforementioned important notice will be unlawful.
Our vehicles will be repossessed at the renter’s cost and without notice, if it is not returned on time without notice, illegally parked, used in violation of the rental agreement, appears to be abandoned, if the hirer or authorized driver gives false or misleading information at the time of rental, any unauthorized drivers operate the vehicle, if the hirer or any authorized drivers are deemed under the use of any illegal substances and cannot operate the vehicle. No refunds will be issued if any of the above points are recognized.
Persons are asked to notify us via company email support@rgdiasporaservices.com, Whatsapp 1-246-2521956, or phone 1-246-2521956 in the event that the vehicle will be returned more than an hour late. Failure to return vehicles within the hour and without notice or within 3 hours following a written or oral demand may deem the vehicles to be in unlawful possession.
Management reserves the right to refuse to provide a vehicle to any person, who is, in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. We are not obliged to provide a reason for refusing to provide a vehicle to any person or organization.
All reservations made by clients are subject to our terms and conditions. No other terms, conditions, and warranties, expressed or implied by law, custom, and course of dealing shall form part of any contract between RG Diaspora Services Inc and our clients except for those terms imposed by law where the application is mandatory. The hirer acknowledges that in making a reservation with RG Diaspora Services Inc they do so only on the basis of the material contained on the rgdiasporaservices.com website or relevant advertising media.
REFUND POLICY
Should any of our vehicles have any mechanical or electrical issues which are then deemed by RG Diaspora Services Inc as unroadworthy, we will then;
A. Provide you with another vehicle from RG Diaspora Services Inc.
B. Source another vehicle from one of our other car rental affiliates.
C. Issue a refund, which you will be charged up to the time that the issue was reported. Deposit fees will not be included in the refund.
Other than what is stated in the 3 above refund policies, there will be NO refunds and all sales are final.
Once your rental begins, if circumstances beyond our control impact your booking, we’re not responsible for issuing refunds. Customers are required to pay the full booking amount regardless of standby flights, cancellations, delays, or other uncontrollable factors.
The hirer or authorized driver shall notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any fault with the Vehicle.
The hirer or authorized driver will remain responsible for the Vehicle and its condition until it is inspected by a member of the team who confirms that it is in good condition.
Vehicles
RG Diaspora Services Inc cannot guarantee a particular model or make of vehicle. The vehicle guide shown on our website rgdiasporaservices.com is for guidance only and we reserve the right to substitute the quoted model with another similar vehicle. If for any reason the vehicle supplied is not equivalent to that requested or not suitable due to performance or condition, please immediately email support@rgdiasporaservices.com, Whatsapp 1-246-2521956, or call 1-246-2521956.
Bookings are not confirmed until you have received your booking confirmation by email or any other written or verbal communication.
